Halcyon Design can give you as little or as much assistance that you require on your project. Below are the typical stages required, and fixed prices for typical projects.

The Design Stage:   Design advice on layout, finish and specification.
Full site survey to obtain all measurements and site pictures.
Referral to a trusted builder - if required - regarding any build issues.

The Planning Application:   Drafting of your plans in Autocad -
the industry standard software.  Drawings converted to PDF's.
Floorplans - existing & proposed, Elevations, Roof Plan, Location & Site Plan.

Processing the Application:  Completion of the Application Form & Design & Access Statement.  Paperwork and plans sent electronically to the planning dpt.  Liaison with the planning department on your behalf with any queries.

Interior Design and Build Detail.  Interior design specification and advice.  
Also any additional plan detail required by your builder and the building control officer.  These additional plans would normally only be required in larger projects requiring a 'full plans' building control application.  

Fixed Prices:
Stage 1 and 2:  Extension with internal alterations: £750 (single storey), £850 (2 storey)
More complex projects involving multiple extensions / loft conversions, new build properties will be quoted for after an initial consultation - for which there is no charge.
Stage 3:  £150 for all applications.
Stage 4:  Interior Design specification and Build Drawings.  Some clients will not require any further assistance but for those wishing to obtain interior design advice and specification, a fixed quote will be given.  Similarly additional drawings may be required for the build, and will be quoted for after an initial consultation.
